I’m scared to think how much more coffee would be on my personal chart.
Here is what Carol Bartz thinks of the Yahoo (YHOO) board that fired her: “These people fucked me over,” she says, in her first interview since her dismissal from the CEO role late Tuesday.
According to some number crunching by CNN, [Bartz’s severance] includes $3 million in cash, as well as a pro-rated yearly bonus worth somewhere between $1 million to $2 million. Add in company stock and you get an extra $5.2 million, a payout figure the company floated in December of last year, which is now higher.
That must be so hard for her.

The Mariners have released their It Gets Better video. They have also finally captured Brendan Ryan’s mustache in full HD. Kudos on both counts. The video is here and embedded below:

Took a walk up Bernal Hill this morning and shot some photos. Not a bad view from up there. More on my Flickr.
I don’t know why I own this.
But before TBS came calling, Microsoft did its best to entice the comedian to bring his show to Xbox Live to help launch an original content channel on the console. The company and the performer have never addressed the reports of the conversation …
While Team Coco passed on the Microsoft offer, they still seemingly walked away with some respect for what the company was planning. Ross didn’t go into details about the big picture, but there have been several other reports.
Crazy. This could have been huge for Microsoft. They’ve done a great job of luring big media players onto Xbox Live—they were the first to get Netflix, and are currently the only ones with live ESPN broadcasts—but this could have been their first big splash in original programming.
As much as I’d like to say this is an example of the growing power and cachet of the video game industry, it’s probably a better example of the lines between media platforms getting more and more blurry.
